The Center for Tibetan Qigong ~ Napa Valley invites you to support the establishment of Tibetan Qigong in the West by becoming a Member.

Tibetan Qigong: A Path to Healing. In 2002 Tibetan Qigong classes were first introduced in Napa Valley. Since then many people experienced the power and healing benefits of Tibetan Qigong, an effective self-healing practice. Students report that Tibetan Qigong keeps them centered during difficult times, reduces stress, makes their jobs easier, or that chronic pain has disappeared.

The Center for Tibetan Qigong – Napa Valley incorporated in 2008 to become a California nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status. Our primary goals are to reduce suffering by promoting the self-healing practices of Tibetan Qigong and to establish a permanent location in Napa Valley for Tibetan Qigong practice and meditation. On a regular basis we invite Buddhist teachers to Napa Valley to give dharma teachings. CTQNV also make donations to Tibetan monasteries to help preserve Tibet’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

Our History – Our teachers were trained by Vajrayana Master and Qigong Master Zi Sheng Wang (Chöying Rangdrol) who was directed by his root teacher of 40 years, the venerable Khenpo Munsel Rinpoche (Tuchen Gyatso) of the Nyingma lineage, to bring Tibetan Buddhist teachings and Tibetan Qigong to the West. Master Wang arrived in the U.S. in 1995 and began teaching Tibetan Qigong and training teachers so that Westerners might have the opportunity to benefit from these ancient Buddhist practices.

Benefits – The foundation practices of Tibetan Qigong can rapidly increase and balance the energies in the body, reduce stress and enhance the immune system. These practices have shown outstanding results for healing disease and building both physical and inner strength. They are also effective as preparation for achievement of higher levels of Vajrayana practice.
