In 2005 Tsoknyi Rinpoche led a video crew to the remote area of Nangchen, in Eastern Tibet to document the lives & needs of the 2,000 Nangchen Nuns of Tsoknyi lineage. Despite living in extreme physical proverty, their faith & devotion provides spiritual inspiration to laypeople & monastics alike. (Video: Journey to Nangchen)
Join us for a day of meditation & qigong dedicated to these extraordinary women practitioners. All proceeds from this event will be used to support the Nuns.
Experience how qigong can enhance meditative practice by balancing the body, mind & spirit. Attendees will receive teachings of Tibetan Buddhist Qigong & Boundless Compassion Qigong. There will also be instruction for Shamatha Meditation.
Filmmaker, Barbara Green, was on the video crew traveling with Tsoknyi Rinpoche. She will share her experiences & answer questions. Video of Rinpoche’s visit, Journey to Nangchen, will be shown.
